The Sites

The Integratron

This is an unforgettable life experience for those who seek deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and introspection. All Sound Baths are 60-minute sonic healing sessions that consist of:

a brief introduction to the Integratron and its history and sound characteristics,
35 minutes of 20 quartz crystal singing bowls played live, and
the balance of the hour to integrate the sound and relax in the sound chamber to ambient music.

You will be resting comfortably in the deeply resonant, multi-wave sound chamber while a sequence of quartz crystal singing bowls are played. Each bowl is keyed to the energy centers or chakras of the body, where sound is nutrition for the nervous system. The results are waves of peace, heightened awareness, and relaxation of the mind and body.

Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park is much, much more than a desert landscape. The park is famous around the world for the healing energies, vortices (Vortex), incredible stargazing and, UFO sightings.

The energy at the park is inherently spiritual and encourages quiet reflection and, meditation. It is a silent beauty that inspires a deep sense of calm and openness to spiritual growth. In the words of Italian cleric Carlo Carretto: “The desert does not mean the absence of men, it means the presence of God.”

Many of those who attend the Just Breathe Retreat comment that Joshua Tree National Park is near the top of their profound experiences list. It is a place filled with peace and the quiet embrace of Mother Gaia...a place to meditate, pray, honor ourselves, ask for and receive help from the universe and your own spiritual guides...to offer gratitude for our life. Wind Walkers Medicine Wheel with Shaman Abe Daniels

The Wind Walkers Medicine Wheel is a sacred space for many ceremonies. It has been blessed by the Cherokee(Tsalagi), Navajo (Dine), Blackfoot, To’hono Odahem (Papago), and the Aztec Nations.

Located in a secluded area of Joshua Tree, the backdrop being the National Park. Shaman Abe Daniels. will lead in teaching several heritage modalities including the proper way to conduct drum circles, native American smudging, the spirit guide discovery and meditation...animal guide meditation trail, and the grandmother moon ceremony.

Pappy & Harriets

We think a “let your hair down” evening is indeed a stimulating and fun part of the retreat and Pappy and Harriet's does not disappoint. The food is excellent, the people are awesome and the live music is terrific...Often with very famous surprise guests on stage. Hence, this historic restaurant and site have been a favorite stop for the Just Breathe Retreat since we began.

The legendary Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace has been delighting locals and travelers alike since 1982, with its mesquite barbeque, live music, dancing, and friendly service. There is also a long history here. In 1946, Pioneertown was founded by a group of Hollywood investors with dreams of creating a living movie set — an 1870’s frontier town with facades for filming and interiors open to the public.
